Yay, the kids have step one down for driving. Boo, they can't think their way out of a paper bag.

Younger son should have gotten all his college apps in back in November. So now he's officially going to the local city college this Fall. We ARE applying for state aid, though, so that's at least something.

Older son still needs an english class to graduate from said city college - he, too has failed to apply to the UCs and the CSUs. So it goes.

Admittedly, this past fall was a horrendous one for concentration for all of us. But still...they'll understand when they're applying at Burger King for a job just exactly what they screwed up when they didn't get their apps in.

And that's just the way it goes.
