Christine's New Chapter

The job, that is...I now work for five hydrological geologists (if that's even a profession). They figure out where the water is, and tell the drillers where to drill. It's fascinating stuff...

...which is good, since I'll be typing that stuff all day long. But the guys are nice (I'm the only girl) and every now and then there's wine on a Friday...so can't complain. Plus the salary beats what I was making as an assistant manager at a clothing store hands down. And no selling! No standing 8 hours a day! No tearing my hair out when someone returns stuff!

Life is good.

I also sent in the form to the EDD today, saying I've now accepted a job (NOT that I'm not still disabled - surprisingly, they do differentiate). So I'm no longer a leech on society (even though I paid my disability insurance for YEARS...).

In these scary political times, it's nice to have a job. After all, people always need water.

Christine's New Chapter Never look down... DEMON SOUL was released in MARCH, 2011 by Crescent Moon Press. DEMON HUNT will most likely be released 2012. This, then, is my new reality! The tumor has been removed and I'm recovering, so now it's all about the writing...and dealing with the writing.
