The job is going to be good. I'll be using my brain a lot. That said, it's going to take me awhile to get used to doing the 8-5 thing - or rather, the 5a-8p thing. That's exaggerating on the end side - I'll be getting home between 6 and 7 depending on when I leave - but still.

Today I got three blog posts written, two for the next couple of Fridays - all scheduled and ready to go. Need to get to the novel soon - but first, lunch I think. The cat has been missing me and needs some snuggle time - so maybe there's a nap in my future, too.

Weekends have meaning again. So strange - they haven't had meaning since March 2001. And lately, with neither the kids nor the hubby going to school/work on Fridays, they've been extended and weird weekends. Now they'll get back to their proper place. Oh, wait - no. They'll become "work on novel" hours...not so bad, though!
