Christine's New Chapter Never look down... DEMON SOUL was released in MARCH, 2011 by Crescent Moon Press. DEMON HUNT will most likely be released 2012. This, then, is my new reality! The tumor has been removed and I'm recovering, so now it's all about the writing...and dealing with the writing. |

2011-09-05 9:18 PM Steady on... So, after waking up at 1:30am and fussing with my website, I ended up getting 1200 words written (more or less). Two more twitter #1k1hr sessions has netted me a total of 3600 words today (more or less). Not as good as I'd hoped, but not bad.
Tomorrow I start Editpalooza over at SavvyAuthors.com. At some point before the middle of the month, I'll need to actually finish this manuscript. The goal is to turn it into the publisher by the 15th of October. In other news...I've finally wrangled Quick Books and know how I'll need to input all the data in order to process invoices by Friday for the day job. Whew! No working with the archaic, three-different-excel-spreadsheets linked then put into a word doc...Now if only the boss will allow me the TIME to do it...darn proposals keep getting in the way! Hubby is happy. Now all I need to do in order to keep my life running smoothly is get my eldest son his driver's license, get him to find a job (difficult in this economy), and get him, eventually, into a 4 year college, and out of a community college. Patience...much patience is required...he's taking a creative writing course, AND he's involved in a creative writing CLUB at SCHOOL...which he chose to do all on his own. So he's learning, and growing, and is slowly gaining confidence. And all that is all sorts of good. Oh, and I still need to find time to write during the day. I see lots of sacrificing of sleep in my future. And I'm okay with that. Read/Post Comments (2) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
