My baby turned 18 today, and my oldest is 21. And they aren't the only college kids living at home - a couple friends of mine have kids at home that are well into their 20s - and not working.

Times are hard. I think I heard a statistic that this is the worst unemployment for kids in their late teens to early 20s since the Great Depression. Oh, okay - so my kid isn't a slacker...? People out there my age are snagging all the jobs at the fast food restaurants...

But for now, my job is secure so yee haw. Even though the thought of still being here in ten years is slightly depressing, the alternative is even more depressing.

Now to just find time to sleep and write...there's the ticket.
