...and I'm another year older. Much more aware and alive than I have been in the past year or so, thank goodness.

Did some brainstorming with the hubby today and have my next set of books ready to write. Such a relief; this time I hope to reach a publisher with more oomph than the one I have. I need to have the first book ready to go by mid-April; I'll be pitching it at a conference in Arizona at the end of April. All is well and I'm thrilled.

Going to dinner tonight at my tai chi studio. I love those people; it feels like home. I have missed tai chi, but didn't know it until I showed up there out of the blue a month or so ago. Now, every class raises such gratitude in me that the tears come. It's an annoying thing, but all in all a good one I think. I'm remembering more every class and feel like something new has taken me over. It's a lovely feeling.

Well, enough. I need to get back to work on the new series. Still haven't heard from my editor on the second Caine brothers book; its been a month now. She did say she wouldn't get to it until mid-February; so now the clock is ticking and my nerves mount. The only good thing is I know I'll be able to fix a lot of what is missing from the book during rewrites.

And so it goes.
