Welcome to the CREDO journal. This section of the main CREDO website is where we'll be posting news, notes, screenings, scandals, and who knows--maybe an MP3 or two, if our producer will let us. Everyone involved in the project is invited to post anything relevant to the film; just send it to me (your director) and I'll put it up. The more points of view reflected here, the better.

The first point in our strategy (besides "get the film done and make it good") is submission to the Cannes Film Festival. Today, in a Kinko's in Phoenix, Arizona (long story), a DVD of CREDO was burned, packaged, verified, and FedExed to 3, rue Amélie, Paris. (If you're wondering whether that street had the same name 2 years ago, you're not alone.)

Along the lines of SJ Rozan's PROGRESS journal, which documented the journey of her book ABSENT FRIENDS from manuscript to bookstore, the CREDO journal will follow our film wherever it goes from here.

Friends, strangers, enemies, film students, indie musicians, newbies, industry pros...please make this as much of a dialogue as you'd like. Questions or comments are welcome and encouraged in the COMMENTS section of each entry. If I think I've got a long enough answer to justify it, I'll make a new entry. CREDO is an unconventional film: A screen musical about religious violence with the vocal recorded live on the set. There are no stupid questions.
