2009-06-26 9:10 AM AT Work!! Yes, I made it in today. My back still hurts, but at least I can get up, walk, dress, and take the bus in. Did My time and found out that I will not get paid for this time unless I can get all the documentation that my boss wants. Haven't told SO yet, but he knows leave problem. The muscle relaxer doctor ordered works great, but I haven't been able to take them and stay awake. I take it at night and sleep very well. I use tylenol for the day time hours. I am not working at my normal desk, but the pace is slower here. Once I caught up on my email and job requests.
What I hate is when I am expected to have something in supply that we never have used before. Apparently, someone got a new printer and I wasn't notified. The person who is to help me left me an email basicly telling me I didn't keep up with my work. When I caught up with her this morning we decided that a system has to be put in place where I am notified of equipment changes. So guess who has to put together a spread sheet to show what toner/part number, cost etc. is on hand as well as what printer we have. Good thing I have most of that info together anyway. Oh well, I'll have work for next week. Enough of rant. Really need to call doctor's office and see if I can get info today faxed to me. How many of you remember young Michael Jackson singing? I think that was the age I became in tune with my age group music-before then it was my parent's choice of music. SO wasn't allowed to listen to rock-n-roll so he doesn't remember the older stuff. It is a shame what happened to his life, and now he is gone. As well as Farah Faucett. Another 70 icon. ED was ill for a longer time and is older so not so great a shock, but that was 3 in less then a week. Read/Post Comments (1) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
