We should get snow not rain!!!!! If we had gotten snow, I would still be in bed, it has been raining since last night and we would have had enough to call off work here in DC. I like work, but a good old fashioned snow day would be great! Not to mentioned a good old fashioned deep snow would be nice to have. I mean enough for everyone to stay put and not risk life and limb. I know I am a kid at heart, but I miss them.

Really did work yesterday. At my desk, doing the job I was detailed here to do. Not bad, not hard, just learning a little bit at a time. My work will be 100% quality reviewed-found that out yesterday. I really tried to be concientious about everything, but considering that I am not fully trained for this job-just transfering training from a position I held 2 years ago (held that and similar positions for almost 20 years, gulp), I don't think that I did that bad. It is challenging. What surprised me last night was 1 how tired I was; and 2 how much my upper thigh muscles hurt. The only thing I can think of is that I am leaning forward quite a bit and bending over a cabinet to get stamps, and getting up and down to make copies of checks that customers give (their proof of payment). All good exercise but still something I need to get use to.

I was tired enough that I tried to crochet but couldn't get into it. I watched half of "Wheel of Fortune" through my eyelids. Opened my eyes for the beginning of "Jeopardy" and then watched the ending through my eyelids. I did watch "So you think you can Dance" but couldn't get into watching anything else so went to bed. I was starting to get a headache. Hubby was having trouble falling asleep. I don't know why. I have my ideas-

My DD's husband's uncle called us out of the blue-he has never called before. He was bragging about his new job and the fact that his son bought a house for 10k and paid cash. That person has a questionable past and the location of the house is questionable also. We are also trying to get shopping done for Christmas for DD family and are trying to get a wish list- gave my dd price range. She was surprised and said that it was too much but we had planned on it and told her. This conversation was all by text. Her text became short. So I called her, no answer. Then my phone rang. She and her husband were having an arguement. He's a good guy, but sensitive about money and any money they get from us. (His mother gives money to his older brother all the time, but not to him-weird family). Hopefully, I will get to talk to her later.
