Stories in progress: Alone- romance turned suspense Moonshine to Moonshine - sci/fi fantasy Back Alley

Not much new here-got the air conditioners turned on. When put into "sleep" mode they are not too noisy, so we were able to sleep last night. It is suppose to get to the 90's today-way too hot for early April!! The news is saying we are under a 'wildfire alert' for the DC area. Temp is suppose to drop to 50s by end of week. Crazy weather. No wonder hubby and I have headaches.

Work is ok, the secretary I cover for lunch-I should give her name-Lois, was to return to work yesterday and didn't. I hope she comes today. I need to do stuff at my desk! and the other secretary is out today I think. It will be an interesting day.

I have recieved permission to get admin leave for the counselors appointment on the 15th. Even though things have calmed down some, this is normal cycle.

Next week the steam pipe leak in our bedroom is getting fixed. Hubby is staying home, and we will be moving our bed into the living room. It will be easier than trying to move between 2 apartments. Hubby really didn't want to do that and is saying that it will be easier for me.
