2010-07-29 6:55 AM Ever do this? Ever put something you don't want to loose in such a safe place that you can't find it when you need it?
Shortly before my business trip in early June, I received Jury duty notification. Ok, no problem. This is for civil jury, call in every night after 5pm to see if you report the next day. I didn't want to keep it with me cause I may loose it. I brought it to work to give copy to manager as required. I really thought I brought it back home and put it up. I put information in my work calendar to remind me to call-with the phone# etc to call, everything except my juror id#. Now I can't find any of the paperwork. NOt at home, not at work, although I found the empty envelope it came in. I have just spent an hour going through my desk and the files it would have been put in. I couldn't find it at home last night either. I have to call tonight. Good thing manager has copy of paperwork. I will talk to him to get copy asap. I have to input time today. Just in case have duty tomorrow-hope not. I have projects to do. I have decided to take excellent advise of yesterday. It will be difficult, but it can be done-I will just engage him my way. Now on to get the paperwork. Read/Post Comments (1) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
