2010-10-22 2:39 PM Desk half cleared off My desk didn't get this cleared off in over a year-almost exactly a year ago-when I went on that detail. Except this time I really went through stuff- and really purged. In between reviewing time, and unpacking box, and covering secretary, and doing other work. I should say about 1/3 of my desk got cleared out. Recycle bin and file 13 got fed. I still have things to go through, but I was reorganizing some of my work features too. And I was pacing myself so that I didn't overstress myself here either. But I am trying to make sure I have true work at the other secretary's desks. I know that I don't always have enough, that I can't help.
I also know I won't be able to go to disney world with my sister, but that can't be helped. I will need to save that leave-just in case. I want to stop using advance sick leave that I have been using. I also know I have to maintain a boundary that is strong with DH, though he is the one saying no fun.:( He isn't listening to me but he will eventually I am sure-just have to work at my pace. We are going out to eat at a new restaurant tonight called Mr. Henry's. It seems nice, not fancy, but a good place to go just to go. Then I go to the "Yarn Tasting". Since there will be cupcakes there, as well as designer yarns, I am expecting to have FUN!! DH is going to have to find a place to stay while I am there, but the shop owner said that lots of hubbys find places to go while partners are roaming her store or are in classes. Only problem is that I forgot my cell phone, so I will tell him to meet me at 8:30 or so at the store. YUMMY YARN!! Read/Post Comments (1) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
