I wasn't ignoring my friend TT questions. What is the definition of love? Remember the 70's saying-"Love is never saying you're sorry." I don't buy that one.

My definition of love is: Wanting the best for my partner in all they do-wanting them to be happy, and trying my hardest to see that I do what I can do for them to be happy.

I don't know what my DH's definition of love is. I see him try to make me happy-but he gets lost. And little things trip him up. A statement made the wrong way really gets it going. (happened last night about the IPad. Had chance to see one in use and I would love to have it just to put all the crochet and knitting patterns on! Made comment when commercial came on-"I want an IPad." I forgot that we had discussed them when they came out and expense plus having to get different service in addition to our regular phone service made it unrealistic. But he only heard the "I want" and took it that I wanted it now. So I do need to be careful)

I know my DH hasn't been happy either. I don't know if we are trying to hard or what. Part of it is that we are together alot. He doesn't realize that time apart is good. So I do try to force the knitting night on Wednesdays-health permitting. He wants to go tonight, I really don't because of how I am feeling. So we won't go.

I will also be taking a knitting class- on Tuesdays,to knit men's sweaters. I will be talking to the owner to see if the patterns she selected can go up to his size. I don't want to do all straight stockinette stitch. (boring over large expanse.) I want some cabling and other stitches. I would love to do a cardigan, but pullovers seem to be the style we are finding.
