holding steady

Well I tried.

I tried to take "my time". He tried to not bother me,to the point of texting me to ask the temp to cook something-what are cookbooks for? (I didn't ask him that) But I couldn't relax enough to truly loose myself into the book. And today I am behaving badly-I am tense and almost ready to pick a fight-almost did. Whoops, my bad. This is on me. I was reading BIg book and reacting to something that wasn't there..or that I was expecting to show up in him and it didn't. Though we did talk last night night and he said that Monday I got my nails done so I was late getting home, Wednesday (tonight) is knitting, and then Tuesday I claiming my time-and it seemed a bit much. Never mind that we still had together time each night before or after each activity. Hmmm. I think that is why I couldn't relax. It really wasn't just my time-just a normal evening can't be a normal evening. I can't just be without telling him in advance not to bother me for awhile-otherwise every 10 to 15 minutes he will expect and start conversation. Very disturbing if really into reading a book. I did that to myself last night. Kept on looking up at the clock-read a page and looked up-yeesh. Did it to myself!! LOL!!

I did tell him that the 'my time' of last night did not work; that I never went into that zone that I needed to. He was upset too. I told him that sometime this weekend we both need to just take time to do it and I may just say, "I am going to read" and that will mean "leave me alone".

This last bood of the Earth's Children series doesn't seem to be as well written as the others were. There is as simplicity in the writing that wasn't there before-different editorial staff? The print is larger-I have a feeling that when it goes to paperback it will be a smaller book than the others, even though the hardcover is larger than most hardcovers.

Well, all of our systems are up, so, got to go! Hopefully they will stay up. There was a fire (rumour from very reliable source) at the building that our systems run from. Think that had major influence on whole problem.
