2011-07-20 9:24 AM Life in the funny farm! We had a reorganization. We are also changing how our time is being reported/recorded. They both went into effect in the same pay period. Powers that be are crazy! We cannot find employees. The organizational codes are not assigned to the right timekeepers; employees are not in the right codes-2 section chiefs are MIA. They belong to me. Another call to the help desk.(first call was do a computerized system to get the authority to input the time for everyone). FUBAR!
Oh well, it is really bad when you have to tell the division secretary how to do her job. And she's been the secretary a whole lot longer than you have!! A simple phone call is how I found things out. And I found missing employees and got help moving them to the right place. The were move the wrong place alot over the past 6 months. Just found out that our Division Chief is not coming back. She has been in an acting assignment as my DH's Division Chief. She is staying there. No news as to who our Division chief is going to be. The secretary who is assigned to that division got a detail out REAL fast, and Cortney got an acting assignment up there till Sept. Now I wonder what that secretary is going to do when she comes back. Stacey (the Div. Chief) expects work. The secretary is know to be lazy even by all the other secretaries. Fun and games are coming! Not to mention fireworks. Well, back to the mess here!
