2011-10-27 8:20 AM Changing times It is rainy again. Although they are talking about a frost warning tonight and possible rain with snow on Saturday. Early snow sighting for this far south. The trees are going from green to brown-no real color change. What happened to the bright colors of fall? Not getting any this year.
I am covering the other secretary's desk again today, and probably tomorrow. Found out she had surgery. And probably came back to work to early. She has a sedentary job, but getting to and from work isn't sedentary-she had to 'slug' last week since her carpool is on vacation. Slugging is where you stand in line and wait for drivers who need another passenger so that they can use the reservered lanes pick you up. It is a walk to the spot and can be a wait for a driver going your way. Not always the most reliable way of transportation. I think she overdid it big time. Life is going on. DH is afraid of the changes he sees in me. My backbone is back. Apparently the 'anger' I have carried inside of me all these years is reenforcing it. Anger at little things that I didn't speak out against then and I need to let go of because I am speaking out against now. I tell him to stop. And he does. So why am I still carrying the anger? I don't know, I did find out last night that he feels it. I do need to let go of it, or at least tamper it down so that it doesn't drive me-I just will hold it in reserve-in case it is needed again.
