OK, I really should know better, right? After 32 years, I should recognize signs and just ignore him. I SHOULD know to just use a dumbfounded look when he says something stupid. I didn't yesterday morning, I responded to something I should have ignored. That was my fault. We discussed it last night. He had no clue that what he was saying was so off, and it wasn't something said in a joking tone. He was serious! (and it was something I had told him to stop saying 6months ago and he had stopped-he doesn't remember that part)

I will remember the dumbfounded look to give him. I will practice it. I had to use it last night. (after I almost reacted to something he said-then caught myself) OH! Boy!

REMEMBER TO BE DUMBFOUNDED!!!!!!!!!!!!

On another note, we are having a problem with our apartment. Apparently, there are smokers upstairs, my closet and the kitchen(occaisionally) have the smell of cigarette smoke. My clothes don't keep the smell, but when I open my closet, the smell is strong. I have been trying room fresheners, they don't last long. Anyone have any ideas?
