Well, I am starting to wonder. I know she said she wasn't going to retire-that she didn't get a letter. But this is another day out sick. And she was fine last week. She didn't call my boss, or the other branch chief that shares this office. She just didn't show up, I had stopped in to say hi to both. I am here, again. (just spoke to Division Chief-she said secretary sounded horrible yesterday.)

I had some a memo I could work on and it is done. Not as scary as it use to be, just not my favorite thing to do since it has just perfect, but finally got the system down-I guess the secretary thought I could learn by doing it-not by her really showing me the tricks of getting it right. Last year the manager who controls the area that needs this type of memo showed me a couple of tricks. Instead of 3 hours to get it right, 1 hour gets it ALL DONE. Including the cover sheet-and approved. Everyone is happy. This afternoon I get to take notes at a meeting. And that is the extent of the real work today. Can we say bored? I am tired of making work. Oh, well, I get paid the same amount if I am working really hard or not, so might as well relax, for tomorrow I will have to catch up on my work!(or the next day or the next day!))
