A week is over.

I missed Tuesday and Thursday-found out that I had a sinus problem that was probably causing part of my migraines. The sinus have been draining, causing sore throat, coughing-and by Tuesday I was running fever etc. I was in bed most of the past 3 days. Even the cat was looking at me to get up.

Our little apartment is not too bad. I love the kitchen. It is a triangle. We have the refrigerator in the point, the stove against one side and the sink/counter against the other. Very efficient. And very fun to cook in. Even washing dishes isn't too bad, since the window runs below the counter and gives lots of light! This little apartment has 4 window. 1 in kitchen, 1 in bathroom, 2 in bedroom. All face east. When blind is open, lots of light.

I actually made statement to B that I could see ourselves living in that apartment. Rearrange furniture, put up a low divider to separate bed from living area, downsize some furniture and it is doable. Needless to say he was shocked. So was I. But what I think it is-is the kitchen. I miss having a truly usable kitchen. And this one is. So, he and I got to talking about how to set up the one in our actual apartment to be more accomadating. Hopefully it works.

As far as the apartment works goes-they are still not done with the plumbing. They had to go into the apartment next to us and put in new copper pipes in the general area. It has been over 1 1/2 weeks. By this time the plumbing was suppose to be done. We are glad that we planned for longer stay than the estimate.
