I just received this email from Nicky:

That is your apology right there. Why are you so hellbent on trying to get my places closed down -- do you hate me that much? I know that you wrote a diss poem on me but keep in mind, you cannot outsmart a smart ass. You are what, 49 years old? You should learn to grow a thicker skin when someone insults you. It shows how much of a liberal you are when a conservative insults you hardcore. As my statement in horrorfind.com, want some cheese with your whine? That you get that burned when someone writes a story that is unflattering; the only thing I apologize about is bragging about it but do I apologize for writing the story in general. No I don't.
What is it about me that pisses you off the most? The fact that 27 year old insulted you hardcore and others are laughing about it. Knowing that the joke was on you and having egg on your face about it. Your little insult poem on me is weak. Your pissed I know, about as pissed I was back in April. Just to piss you off even more I am going to see if I can make a little money off that story as well. Do I see myself as blacklisted for insulting you, no -- just having a few laughs at your expense. H.P. Lovecraft and his buddies did shit like that all the time on each other during their heydays. What some would take as a threat would be nothing but a hard insult; one hard insult after another.
You are 49 years old -- almost 30 years my senior. I bet you had some writers do some nastier insults than the one I did on my story. I don't want to take this to court; it is not my nature to sue people and you should just take the story for what it is -- a story, and a work of art. You don't like when a joke is on you and shows that you have temper. If you want to take this up with me privately this is my phone number (removed to protect the guilty JRF)

He still can't get it into his ugly head, that it isn't about satire per say, but about the accusations of plagerism in the piece. That is what makes it defamation of character. That and that alone.

As for the apology, he attached a wave file to the email.
