Perhaps that is simply a bit of 1960s idealism that most people have outgrown; but it remains near and dear to me. I am the best-selling dark fantasy ebook author of the Dark Brothers of the Light series. I made my first short story sale at 23. it appeared in Amazons! which took the World Fantasy Award for best anthology in 1980February 2004: In The Darkness Hunting: Tales of Chimquar the Lionhawk (wildside press) Dark Brothers of the Light Series. 2004-11-01 9:38 AM Amazon and Collectives in a Foresaken Landscape There are two copies of Piggy's antho listed at Amazon. But they aren't being stocked by Amazon. One is from Booksurge, notorious back-end vanity and the other from alibiris. This means that they are there through the Amazon partners program. In that case, Amazon takes 50% of the sale price. This is the same thing they do with used books.
In this case, what it boils down to is that it is there, but it isn't there. Amazon spends basically nothing to post it and might stand to gain if one actually sold, assuming they will sell. Again, Piggy has put his own five star rating up at both Booksurge and alibris. Cheating, cheating, cheating. Thus I dispute Piggy. Hopefully this will be the last piggy post for awhile and I can get back to my editorials and examinations of the validity (or lack thereof) of amateur publishing.
