I am preparing to interview industry sage and author Nick Mamatas as part of an article I am writing. I have already interviewed Jean Marie Stine, editor in chief of Renaissance Ebooks and a small press publisher who requested anonymity. I will be interviewing Sean Wallace of Wildside also.

When Nick sent me his credentials in the industry, it took my breath away to see just how much expertise he will bring to the interview on the micropress and ebooks.

Nick has written about the issues of POD and ebooks for Silicon Valley Reporter, Artbyte, and the Village Voice.

He worked for Soft Skull Press, which began in 1992 as a micropress. In 2004, Soft Skull Press had its first book as part of the Today Show Club. He worked there, on and off, from 1998 to 2003 on a freelance basis as an editor, as "Senior Editor" and as sales rep liaison to
their distributors.

Since cyber pulp, will of course, come into this article at some point, I have also PM'd Bob Gunner asking him to answer the same set of questions I have put to to the current small press and ebook editors and publishers.

I am expanding my list of questions in light of Mamatas' extreme breadth of knowledge. So if anyone wishes to add questions, ask them now.
