And once again, even though I got there a bit earlier (10 a.m.), all of the tables at B&N were taken. I read for a bit, then left, mailed stories, and came home.

Good news! Pool people are coming out this weekend to drain the pool, scrub it, refill it, and chemical it. We should have a pool to use by Tuesday or so. And…we’re considering starting work on the guest room/library. Ken has two days off plus the usual weekend, and we could get a good chunk of it done. Zoinks.

933 words on AETW done, and Chapter 6 finished. Now I’m officially starting the Novel part of the Dare, since I want to do full novels. I should have Chapters 7 through 14 finished by the end of August. I’m going to do the Apprentice Level of the Word Count Dare, and shoot for 1K words/day, or 62K by the end of August.
