2003-04-21 11:59 PM Trendsetter Had my first chiro appt in three weeks. My neck and back are getting better, Doc says. We went over the results of my ultrasound test (which maps the soft tissue in my back). Apparently I once tore my right rotator cuff. Isn’t that an injury that sidelines athletes? ‘Cause I was apparently unaware of doing it. Silly stoic me.
Got some computer work done, and when Ken came home from lunch with some former coworkers/colleagues, we went for a walk through the neighbourhood. Not as brisk as I might have liked, but still good exercise. We looked at how houses were styled differently, and I dragged him back and forth across the street to look at gardens. I also finally whipped my résumé into shape, finished a cover letter, and mailed them off to a publisher in Irvine. And I clipped some nasturtiums to put in a vase on my desk. Sewing night tonight. I finished the first pair of drawers/bloomers and everyone thought they were cool. (One person decided she needs some, too. I’m such a trendsetter.) Then I got even more work than expected done on The Project That Cannot Be Named (it’s a surprise for some folks). Afterwards, Ken and I sat in the hot tub and talked about stuff, as we are wont to do. Got my new driver’s license today. The picture is hideous. It particularly sucks because my last picture was great. Dammit. Not feeling very chatty tonight. It’s late, and we should sleep.
