Mood: Sleepy Read/Post Comments (3) |
2003-05-13 11:08 PM Title, up for grabs I think I sounded grumpy in yesterday’s post. I didn’t mean to. The sprain really is mild. I got tons of stuff done yesterday. I’m actually in a reasonably good mood.
Hey, if ya’ll get the chance, go to http://www.rollingstone.com/bestlive and write in Styx and vote. Thanks! Sleepy today. Really having trouble concentrating. Got more e-mail done; tweaked a proposal that I mostly wrote Sunday and yesterday; mailed two stories, trunked another, and set two aside to await better markets (erotica); and did a little embroidery while watching TV. I seriously considered a nap. Now it’s 7 p.m. and I might as well stay up for a few more hours and try to get to bed early (especially because we have to take Grimoire in for his teeth cleaning at 7:30 a.m. Yeesh.). Ooh! We saw the PBS show about trebuchets, and we’ve been to a bunch of the castles they showed. In fact, when the French guy was showing off his little trebuchet model, he was in the great hall at Caerphilly, where we held Drachenwald Coronation. That is just too cool. As usual, my brain now thinks that at 11 p.m., it’s time to start writing. Um, no, sorry. Early morning tomorrow. Very tired now. Damn you, brain! Oh, I should mention that I’m closing in on finishing the second large spiral on the hem of the tunic. Still trying to decide if I should push to do the ones on the back. I’m leaning towards that. Then I’ll get my other projects all lined up to work on, and I can take them up to Darach for the weekend. We’re hoping to head up as early as Thursday and stay with friends, although we have to come back Saturday night because we have a GWW meeting on Sunday. (The same day as the LA RWA meeting on paranormal romances. [bonk head on desk] I’m toying with the idea of ditching the GWW meeting. Ken can give my report. The focus is on money, and I’ve already turned in my budget, so there.) Read/Post Comments (3) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
