2003-07-04 11:59 PM Asking abnormally Ugh ugh ugh. Woke up with a headache. Took Advil, which seemed to help. Got a great massage from a friend (I won a promissory for it at GWW last year). Much yum. But my headache increased, despite Tylenol Allergy/Sinus, and finally I went back to bed and dozed for hours (after dozing on the sofa). Finally I got up, staggered around, took more Advil, and now I _think_ it’s gone. I hope. I don’t know what triggered it.
Discovered that the best time to go to Lowe’s is at 7 p.m. on the 4th of July. They were closing early, at 8, and the store was mostly abandoned. The workers outnumbered the customers—by a lot. We only had a couple of things to get, though. Hell, I was trying to think of more things to look at, and questions to ask. You can never find someone to ask normally. (Or even abnormally. You know what I mean.) Made Philly cheese steak sandwiches for dinner. The George Foreman Grill is the best cooking device we have in the house. Possibly that exists in the world. (No, they don’t pay me to say that. It’s just true.) Ken’s been working steadily on the library closet. The door between the closet and the garage (e.g., the secret passageway) is being hung as I type this. He’s also started cutting pieces for the magazine rack. Now, some copy editing, and maybe some writing, depending on how I feel. I also want to design a couple of inkle patterns and warp the loom.
