2004-12-27 11:59 PM Poxing Day Today’s writing: “On Display”, beginning written and sent to Teresa; “Stitch in Time”, edited and sent to BattleCorps
Happy Poxing Day! (The Goblins again. I have this urge to pull out my old Lady Cottington’s calendar and acknowledge all the Faery and Goblin holidays in 2005. Maybe on the chalkboard in my office…) I woke up with a headache today, but took drugs and went back to bed, and it went away. I need to check back and see if I’m getting headaches after healing circles (I may be confused because I had a headache when I went _to_ a healing circle one time). I might have some energy flow issues to work on. Rainy day, so we shan’t be walking to the PO and library. Perhaps a brief sidetrip for cross stitch floss and shoes for Ken and bread. Maybe another movie. I do know that I have several writing projects I must work on, and I need to finish up the holiday newsletter and finish wrapping presents to mail. The people next door have already taken their decorations out of the side window I can see from my office. Heathens. Anyway. <><><> We didn’t go anywhere after all, because Ken’s sick and it was a cold, rainy day. I’ve discovered something rather disturbing, though. It may be that I’ve been in California too long. Because when the house gets cold, I’ve started turning into a lizard. Including the very slow blinking. Thus this afternoon and evening I barely moved, and when I did, it was slow and lizard-like. Finally we went and sat in the hot tub, and I could feel myself slowly warming, from the outside in, and as the warmth got deeper, it chased levels of cold out to the surface to dissipate in the water. I got some writing done, and later Teresa sent me back one of the stories, and later than that, the other story that I’d sent to her earlier. They’re at the top of the list for tomorrow. I didn’t get any presents wrapped, nor did I finish the holiday newsletter. We did watch episodes of “CSI”, “Murder in Suburbia” (British mystery series), and season three “Angel”, and I got some cross-stitch done. Early –ish to bed tonight (for us, anyway), so with that, good night! Read/Post Comments (0) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
