Mood: STILL sick Read/Post Comments (2) |
2005-01-26 11:59 PM We love you, Cleveland! Woo! Words Written: AETW: sniffle, kaff…zzzz
I was bemused today to find a review of Scheherazade #27, which referred to me as “the suspiciously monikered Dayle A. Dermatis”. I’ve written to the editor of the site (I couldn’t find contact info for the reviewer) asking why my name is considered suspicious… So, have you bought your copy of the magazine yet? <><><> Is it really pathetic of me that I’m sitting here with two screens open, one to each Styx stagecam, watching the Cleveland concert as it happens? Yeah. I thought so. Damn. Wait. Is it even more pathetic that I know which song they’re singing based on the time and where Larry’s standing? Yeah, I thought so. I’m a freak. Thank goodness I’m cute. (And I’d just like to make it clear that Ken’s got both screens open on his computer, too. We’re both pathetic. Thank goodness we’re cute.) <><><> I lied. Or my body lied to me. I’m not getting better. What is it with this every-other-day thing? And I really don’t feel like I’m “overdoing it”. The house is in a shambles, I’m behind on writing and almost everything else (I did pay bills today, at least), and even though we have real food in the house (and, I might add, ate real meals the past two nights), tonight we ate tomato soup and grilled cheese sammiches again because it’s all that I wanted. Sigh. It’s mostly a mid-chest cough, which is also giving me a headache. But oh, I’m so very tired. And that’s the worst of all. Tomorrow, there are things I must do. I must write the next scene on AETW so I know I’m moving forward. I must pack for the weekend. I must buy more cough syrup and cough drops. I’m sure there’s more, but I’m too tired to remember it right now. Now, really, honestly, I must sleep. --- Currently Reading: I’ll Be Watching You, Charles de Lint; Black Gate, Fall 2004 Lately Listened To: my own hacking Recently Watched: a Styx concert in Cleveland (hee!); “CSI: NY” Read/Post Comments (2) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
