Mood: Panicking |
2005-05-26 1:58 PM Panic! Panic, rash fool! I've e-mailed a bunch of folks about this, but in case you haven't checked your e-mail or I didn't remember to cc: you, here's the foolish thing I've done... Because I apparently didn't have enough stress in my life...
Someone posted on a local pagan list that EnigmaCon needed a pagan rep for a panel on SF/F and religion. When I saw that Ron Moore (Battlestar Galactica) was on the panel, I rashly volunteered. (Those of you from OCW, especially the WfH workshop, will understand why!) It's this Saturday. I've never been on a con panel before. Help me! The topic is: Science Fiction, Fantasy, Horror, and Religion What questions of religion are asked and answered by genre media? I'd love any suggestions you might have of recent genre works (any media) that involve paganism, negative or positive. TV is pretty easy (Willow/Tara from "Buffy", "Charmed") but I'm wracking my brains for books and movies. I know they're there; I'm just blanking. If you have time, please e-mail me ideas, suggestions, opinions, anything you'd like me to say on behalf of pagans everywhere (hee!), etc. Thanks! Oh, and is anyone local going to the con? I'd love to hang out with friends, and also maybe even carpool with someone from the Ventura area... Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
