5 days ‘til Ken gets home! (Yes, this is going to be a daily annoyance for the rest of you until Monday.) <>-<>-<> Yesterday, I walked for the first time in almost two weeks without pain. It didn’t last, but things are definitely better. The pain has moved almost entirely to my left hip, which is strangely not as bad as when it was in my back. I went for my daily walk with Elise yeterday and I’m looking forward to getting back into that habit (brisk half-hour walk—we’re doing maybe 2 miles?). I suspect stretching my leg and getting the blood flowing helps. Last night was Lick-n-Stick and Healing Circle, and we actually got around to Healing Circle instead of sitting around chatting. I think that helped my back/hip a bit, too. And very restful and energizing at the same time. But I didn’t get home until 10:15 p.m., and then I realized I’d brought proofreading home with me to finish, so I didn’t get to bed until after 11:30 p.m., which is a good hour after I should have been in bed. I slept well, though; exhaustion is a great motivator! Writing is going reasonably well. I don’t write as fast with the Palm and slow keyboard, but I’m closing in on finishing Chapter 10 and hope to do so tonight. There’s Scooby-Doo–like skulking going on, and that’s always fun. And I think it’ll bleed into Chapter 11. Anybody out there familiar with the slang/speech patterns that a 19/20-year-old boy would use? ----
