Mood: Tired Read/Post Comments (3) |
2005-09-09 11:47 PM Silvered From yesterday:
The massage therapist who comes to our work takes Paypal. How handy is that? <>-<>-<> In other news, the new iPod Nano comes in black, and I have fallen madly in love with it. (Except that it doesn’t hold nearly enough music. It’s so very beautiful though, sleek and black and begging to be cradled in my hand.) <>-<>-<> And now, today: So very tired. Last night I thought I would go to bed at 8:40; every time I closed my eyes, it felt like I was going to fall asleep right there. But dammit, I’m a night person, so I answered a couple of e-mails and then just kept going. Stupid and ultimately painful. Although I think I slept through the night (first time this week), it took me a long time to fall asleep, even though I was so tired. Sigh. And once again, I’ve made a To Do list for the weekend that’s probably far longer than I can managed. I tried to not only group it by subject, but also by importance. Start from the top of each section and work down, so even if I don’t finish, the most important/crucial/time-sensitive stuff gets done. <>-<>-<> Spent the evening taking everything out of the dining room that didn’t belong there, polishing silver, watching TV, and putting lots more stuff in the box for the Salvation Army. Does anyone know if there’s a charity that’s taking clothes for the hurricane survivors? I have a lot of old t-shirts I’ve been meaning to weed out. They’re in good shape in that they don’t have holes or tears, but they’re faded and well-worn. I doubt they’re worth donating to SA, but they’d be a definite benefit for someone who lost all their clothes. Let me know—thanks! And for those of you who watch Battlestar Galactica: woah! Whoa! Plus the fact that they played the original series music at the end made me all 11-years-old again. <>-<>-<> I actually have been working on the story, but I’m too tired to connect computers or even to wander downstairs to my office to check wordcount. I’m at about 1200 words, I think, and the minimum (which is what I’m shooting for) is 2500. I should be able to finish it tomorrow. I’m rather sad that none of you have rushed out and bought Sex in the Sports Club and then given it a glowing review. [pouty lip] ---
