Writing Stats: Just writing, really. Exercise: day off Forgotten English Word of the Day: tyromancy: Divining by the coagulation of cheese. <>-<>-<> I actually apologized to Ken on the phone last night for being boring. (He told me not to, because, as I knew, I was being silly.) But I just don’t have a lot to say about life right now, the day-to-day: I work out, I write, I try to catch up on e-mail and whatnot. Today was an excellent day, writing-wise. I wrote a whole bunch on a last-minute Sophie story for an anthology—we’d both written solo stories for it but the editor e-mailed that she wasn’t getting a lot of submissions. Teresa suggested and idea, and it totally sparked with me; she wrote the beginning and I finished it. It’s part of a novel. Yep, no doubt about it. I want to abandon all my other projects and write it in a white-hot week. Kinky superhero(ine) threesomes, with an angsty theme but tongue-in-cheek tone. What’s not to love? Morgana came over to get lemons for our tree for supper, and then I went over there for lemon-and-olive chicken. Mmmm. Must get recipe. Garlic-stuffed olives, even. I brought hummus and pita, Thomasina brought salad, and there was much yumminess. Afterwards there was Lick-n-Stick and Healing Circle, and my back is feeling better for it. Tonight was another episode of Hex, and I desperately [heart] Hex, for more reasons than I can go into now. Buffy-esque British boarding school with sex and a sarcastic lesbian ghost. Again, I helplessly ask, what’s not to love? ---
