Pyongyang, February 11 (KCNA) - General Secretary Kim Jong Il received a floral basket from Palestinian President Yasser Arafat to mark his birthday. The floral basket was conveyed to Jong Ha Chol, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, by Shaher Mohammed Abdlah, Palestinian Ambassador to the DPRK, on Monday. Now see? Isn't that sweet? Why can't our President send birthday flowers to a psychotic thug? I'm sure it would smooth things right over, and North Korea would just dismantle those nukes lickety-split. The card could read: Happy B-Day Jong-Il! Sorry about all that "Axis of Evil" stuff. I was only kidding! Have a wonderful birthday. Signed, George W. Bush p.s. I hope you like tulips!
