Thinking as a Hobby

I keep hearing from left-leaning pundits that Iraq had nothing to do with the War on Terror (interspersed with those who say there's no such thing).

Well answer me this: If Iraq has nothing to do with the War on Terror, then why are there so damned many terrorists in Iraq now?

Even if one concedes that there were no links with al Qaeda or any terrorists in Iraq before the invasion, why are all those terrorists there now, cutting the heads off people and demanding that we leave?
