So last night I got a call from the Angela Hunt campaign for District 14 City Council seat. (Note: If you register and actually vote, people will call you.)

Anyway, it started out like the Candy Marcum call...Can we count on your support? and so on.

So I asked: "Tell me a little bit about Angela Hunt and why I should vote for her." To his credit, the guy didn't hang up on me. He said he was actually a family friend and that he'd known her for some time and thought she was committed to improving the community. He asked if he could mail me some information, and I said sure.

So here is her website. Hey, looks pretty good. She's got a section on issues where she talks about specific intiatives...some boiler plate stuff like adding more cops to the street, but some more targeted things like eliminating late-hour permits for bars and increasing recruitment for certain volunteer programs.

And she's got a blog! Hm...well she's looking like a much better candidate so far than Candy. I wonder if the other campaigns will call...
