This Guardian story about the Wendy's finger-in-the-chili ordeal is pretty good, but my favorite line was this:

Wendy's claimed it lost at least $2.5m (£1.4m) in sales in the weeks following the finding of the finger, as a grizzly photograph of the severed digit appeared around the country.

I think the word they were going for there was grisly, not grizzly.

I thought maybe it was a pun at first...you know those witty, erudite Brits. But nope, just a good old fashioned typo. I half expected the link to take me to a picture of a big black bear.
