Man, I don't know how I missed this last month.

Late last week, the Baylor Starbucks pulled about 500 cups with a quote by gay author Armistead Maupin after a faculty member complained.

Maupin's quote explains that the only regret he had about being gay is that he held it in for a long time.

Linda Ricks, Marketing Program Manager of Baylor Dining Services, said Baylor Dining Services agreed to get rid of the cups out of respect for "Baylor culture."

Hah. For those of you who don't know, I went to Baylor my first two years of undergrad. Anyway...kinda sounds like a bizarre ad campaign, but the reaction is nice. Do they think the coffee cup is gonna start causing repressed gays to out themselves, maybe even right there on campus within view of the bear pit? Gasp.
