"Human" rejected by New Genre. Because of a simultaneous sub i did by accident, I still have to wait for word from F&SF (although they are over due by 2 months now).


"In the Blood" was rejected by LEading Edge. One editor liked it and had no problem marks in the checkboxes. Editor #2 didn't like the resolution, #3 didn't like anything except the setup and wanted me to use it for a springboard for a totally different story. All I can say about Eds 2 & 3 is that they completely missed the point of the story.

Anyway, no revisions coming - the story is a reprint.



So, now I have "In the Blood" and "Presence" to sub. "This" and "A Gift of Writing" are both being brushed up today. So, tonight or tomorrow, I'll have 4 pieces on their way back out.
