Not Voting

I have a problem with some on the left who have decided that the best way to protest the right wing take over of the country is not voting in any election. If you don't vote but still have to pay taxes you are in effect financing the oppostion.
It's like you co-own a company and pay the bills but have no intrest in who does the hiring or who they hire. You just keep paying the bills as your comapny makes poisons and kill people.
The right wingers love lefties who have decided to stay out of the way, if that is one way you have decided to make a statement W. and his gang should give you a kiss (thats a sick making picture... sorry.)
By not voting and receding from the political process it also gives you a great excuse for knowing nothing of the current political climate.
The sheer arrogance of this amazes me.
By the way Doug Lain returns every Wednesday for damage control. I'll be back on Thursday.
