Well hiya pilgrim this is... John Wayne with a special announcement:
It's October 26th and that means... at 2 AM this morning... we ended daylight savings time... and went back to standard time. So... all you nice folks were supposed to set your clocks back an hour... you know "fall down and move around" or whatever the hell it is.
Now the farmers can get an hours more sleep or the kids don't have to wait for the bus in the dark or.. hell I don't remember which. It's one of those things...

Now I wanted to talk to you about YOUR responsibility here at "Silly Thinking with Douglas Lain" now union made.
I've met with Doug and he's a hell of a nice guy. He and his staff have put together a great little thing here and I'm glad you all support it. Why my old wierdo pal Marlon Brando has got a show... but you're job out there in the internet is to write Doug and his staff so they know you like or don't like something.
Hell... if we made movies and never knew what you thought... how could we... well... how could we make more movies?
Ahh hell, I'm no good at making speeches, but I hope you get the idea.
Write "Silly Thinking" and tell a friend.. you'll be glad you did...oh... and go out and get a copy of Doug's new book "Polly's Pony" I read it and I only wish I was around to make a movie of it.
