My Dearest Silly Thinkers,

I, Larry B. Silly wish to take this moment to reflect on my fifteen years at the Silly Thinking Site, and to congratulate and thank the warm and wonderful people with whom I've had the pleasure to work. You're all dear to me, in your own way. That is, excepting Mr. Brando who is quite certifiably insane, and Sy Gold who I have to say is a stupid bleeding sod.

Okay, the fact is this:
I'm moving on. I'm going to help maintain the Paper Bag website for PaperMart Inc. It's an exciting time for me.

You've heard rumors, I'm sure, about how certain personnel choices may have contributed to my decision to seek employment elsewhere. Well, unfortunately these rumors are true. Linda Blare, for instance, is not an actress at all, but a traffic cop from Liverpool. Here she is to explain:


Hi. I'm Linda Blare. I'm not Linda Blair. Our names are similar, but we're not the same person. When Mr. Silly approached me for the job I'd never even seen the Exorcist. I didn't even know who Blair was, but I soon figured out that he'd mistaken me for this other woman.
The fact is I didn't have the heart to say anything. Also it was nice to get the extra cash and eat something besides fish and chips for a change.
Anyhow, Miss Blair and her attorneys can give it a pass now. Okay?

Thanks Miss Blare. Don't know how I could have made that mistake.

Now, looking to the future, it seems that the NEW management at Silly Thinking have decided to try to start over. They've invited that pinko Douglas Lain to come back, and they are apparently going to let Mr. Farris stay as well. This despite the fact that we all know Mr. Farris is a drunken lout who can't spell to save his life.

So there it is, I'm through. Just remember:
