This is what HAS BEEN APPROVED FOR YOU TO SEE at the STATE APPROVED CINEMAS this week. 1. “Troy” a big old fashioned sword and sandal clunker but it’s also a HUNKATHON with Brad Pitt, Orlando Bloom, and (or course) Peter O’Toole. 2. “Van Helsing” sloppy monster movie stars Hugh Jackman, Frankenstein, Dracula, and Wolfman plus cool flying vampire brides. 3. “Mean Girls” Supposed to be funny and with good buzz; this “SNL” induced entertainment is the biggest hit from weasely Lorne Michaels since “Wayne’s World” . 4. “Breakin’ All The Rules” Jamie Foxx stars in this romantic comedy that is getting very little pre-publicity but is supposed to be one of the funniest comedies in quite a while. 5. “Man On Fire” if you can stay awake, put him out! 6. “New York Minute” news of global warming, less sunlight getting to the planet, and this film from The Olsen Twins, prove the Apocalypse is right around the corner. 7. “13 Going on 30” Jennifer Garner is cast in the Kurt Cameron role in this remake of the hilarious Dudley Moore comedy “Arthur 2”. 8. “Kill Bill, Vol. 2” Some critics and audience members think Quentin Tarentino is a genius. Of course some people are voting for George Bush so, what the hell. 9. “Godsend” EVIL CLONES! EVIL CLONES! RUN FOR YOUR LIVES! 10. “Home On The Range” there are places in this country where this movie is still showing and people dutifully walk into the cinemas and see it. EVIL CLONES! EVIL CLONES! RUN FOR YOUR LIVES! STIS! Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
