This is what HAS BEEN APPROVED FOR YOU TO SEE at the STATE APPROVED CINEMAS this holiday week. 1. “The Day After Tomorrow”. This is already my favorite movie ever and I haven’t even seen it yet!. A disaster movie that some are saying is a combination of “The Swarm” (yummy yum yum!) and “Earthquake” (Oh boy oh boy oh boy oh boy!) directed by Roland (“Independence Day”) Emmerich and based on a book co-written by Whitley (“I was abducted by aliens!” author of “Communion”) Strieber and Art ( radio host nutsy) Bell. All financed by FOX!!! Have I died and gone to heaven or this just a summer movie? You decide. 2. “Shrek 2” “The Passion of The Anti- Disney” will be a top money maker for weeks. 3. “Raising Helen”. New comedy with Goldie Hawn Jr. looks annoying and shrill enough to be a box office winner (for one week). 4. “Troy”. Hunks in tight leather, sweaty fights, and… hunks in tight leather. Have I died and gone to heaven or this just a summer movie? You decide. 5. “Soul Plane”. African American remake of “Airplane!” stars Tom Arnold. 6. “Van Helsing”. Character from “Dracula” (played by Hugh Jackman) fights classic movie monsters including Dracula, Frankenstein, The Wolf Man, Shelly Winters, and Karen Black. 7. “Man On Fire” Denzel Washington stars as BBQ chef who catches on fire at a big luncheon. 8. “Mean Girls” true story of the Bush daughters in high school. 9. “Kill Bill Vol. 2”. Political thriller based on memoirs of Newt Gangrich. 10. “13 Going On 30”. Jennifer Garner takes on the Dudley Moore role in this hilarious remake of “A Crappy Piece Of 80’s Drivel We Made For The Money”. STIS! Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
