Here from our Northwest News Center is Jim Farris, STNews. JF: Hello again. To recap our breaking news story from last night. A 3.3 earthquake was followed by a “mystery light” streaking across the sky at high speed, which was followed by blackouts in the Seattle area. Scientists insist it was a meteorite that flashed through the night sky and that the earthquake, power failures and other phenomena were not related and could all be chalked up to a “strange night” in the Pacific Northwest. Joining me now is an eyewitness to these events, Mister Roy Neary. Good morning Mister Neary and welcome to ST. RN: Yeah. Who are you people? JF: ST News Mister Neary. Tell me, what did you see in the night sky last night. RN: It was a green light moving quickly with a fire ball following it. JF: How was it shaped? RN: Shaped? Uhh, well it was kind of, Uhh, well… JF: Was it shaped like those little crescent cookies, those little Sara Lee cookies? RN: I need to share this with you. JF: Don’t you think I’m taking this rather well? RN: This really happened and I really need you to believe me. JF: I remember when we used to come out here and there didn’t have to be green lights in the sky. RN: Do you think I follow every Walter Cronkite story. Who are you people? JF: Jim Farris, ST News. And thank you Roy Neary, and by the way Roy, you were fired. They don’t even want to talk to you. RN: That’s not right. STNEWS IS!!!! Read/Post Comments (0) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
