Well, the deadline came and went. And when no phone call arrived from L, I contact the Plain Dealer. Who referred me to the Ohio Dept. of Insurance. Who then referred me to the Dept of Labor.

Heh heh.

When I explained the WHOLE situation to the DoL, the very wonderful gentleman told me he'd start making phone calls. And I told him I hadn't gotten anywhere with the supervisors. And then he said words which struck me with glee, "Oh, no. We don't deal with *supervisors*. We deal with company presidents. When they hear the Department of Labor is calling, they call us back."

I think I fell in love at that moment.

And the magic words are, "And I'm pregnant"
