We did it! 93 degrees yesterday! 94 today! Both records!!

Ever notice how an exclamation mark resembles a thermometer?

When I lived in New York City, during one heatwave, the headline on the New York Post was just a huge "102." Or was it "104"?

I'd rather remember the winter day in Rochester when it was sixteen below zero. I couldn't get to the Freezeroo road race so I contented myself with a three mile run in the park. By that time it was a balmy minus 8. It was fun but I had to keep stopping to scrape ice off the inside of my eyeglasses.

That's all I can manage today. The mouse is sticking to the pad.
