Well, it's the day before Thanksgiving and I'm at work (9-5). I have an interesting few days ahead of me, including today. I'm still fighting a cold off and on, or allergies or something, but you know, it could be a lot worse than it is. I really do *not* have it rough.

So everyone should be back in town tonight, and Ivy says we're all going out. Holidays are neat, especially living in my "hometown", because it means I still get to see everybody we grew up with. Sean and I are going to a Braille Drivers (band) party, and then going down to Pleasant Street to listen to Bobby Lane (or at least this is my plan). Hopefully I'll get to see everybody, if not I'll wander down to McClafferty's: Everyone who's out is bound to be at one of the big three, Pleasant, the Mick bar, or Gibbies. Gibbies would require an uphill walk, so Mc it is!

Tomorrow I meet Sean's family (going to his 'rent's for Thanksgiving lunch) and then Sean and I are going to my Mom's for Thanksgiving dinner. I'm looking forward to the day, though I'm a little bit nervous. (Probably all to the good, as Traci pointed out.) I'm also excited about it, though, so it's definitely a positive sort of thing.

On Friday Wheaten gets fixed! I figured it up with Ivy and Jake last night, and he's either six or seven months old now. He really is a sweet sweet cat, even if he does roughhouse with Sierra and try to sleep on my head/face/neck. I'm glad I wound up taking him. I think his official name will be (Sir) Wheaten. The parenthesis are silent.

Everyone have a wonderful and happy Thanksgiving, and I'll tell you about my adventures after!
