So aside from the fact that I've wanted a digital camera for a while now anyway (technophile) I bought one.
Now we just have to see if I can get it to pay for itself (laugh). Luckily, I got my mom to pay for about half of it as my Christmas gift (yay Mommy!). It's a Sony Mavica FD-200, which means I can take digital pictures and save them on a floppy disk, and pop them right into my computer. And in case my Photshopping skills aren't up to the task, there are even effects right on the camera (I can take sepia pictures! Woo hoo!). So I'm all excitable. I even went out yesterday (in the icky snow) to get pictures of the Good Counsel Friary, just 'cause I knew they'd be neat. So I'm in the middle of finals. My first final was Monday, I've been working on a final paper this week, I've got a final tomorrow morning, a final Tuesday, and a contract due Wednesday. Which means I'm doing things like going out to the Friary to take pictures. You know, I honestly get more done when I'm procrastinating. Funny, huh? Ah well, I should probably actually go study for tomorrow's final (Coal, Oil, and Gas. It's really just Property Law for the most part, but there are a few extra things to remember, mostly stuff about subsidence, specific lease clauses, and contaminating things...). I'll chat to you all more later. Read/Post Comments (16) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
