2002-01-29 1:20 PM say nighty night and kiss me So much for frequent posting.
Hrm. January. What a month. Let me just say that it's sad to have to look at your Palm Pilot to figure out what you've done in a month. On the 13-15, I went to Tucson, AZ for work. Nothing quite like seeing the country on some one else's tab! It was pretty mellow, fairly low stress. I got a massage, watched a crap-load of bad movies, and missed my flight home. *sigh* But I must say, if you have to spend 3 hours stuck in an airport, the Phoenix one isn't so bad. o/~ always look on the bright side of life o/~ Or something. I was home for a night, then off again for fun! A bunch of us packed in a car and motored up to Lake Tahoe. Spent the first night and next morning in the throws of debauchery, drinking and gambling. :) After some rest, we got some breakfast at Heidi's -- If you ever get the chance, don't eat there! then went over to "The Cabin" our rented house for the weekend. It was a nice quiet little place, not quite large enough to fit 12 people comfortably, but... we managed. "The Cabin" is a two bedroom, two bath, little rentable house on the California side of Lake Tahoe. There was a master bedroom with a queen sized bed and a lesser bedroom that slept 4, er 6, er... a bunch. There was a small hot tub outside and a fair sized kitchen and dining area. mmm. Very fun. We made *special* cookies and pina coladas. We skied and Sno-Boarded on Saturday and all planned to go home sometime Sunday. After a full day of snow-fun, Sunday night turned into Monday morning. So I get in Monday afternoon-ish, and what do I hear? I must travel again for work. Yea. And there was much rejoicing. No really. Stop laughing. This time, however, sunny central Florida. A town and an Airline I've never heard of. Mental note, *never* fly Frontier Airline. Never. Anyway, Florida is nice this time of year. It's interesting to see the sunset over land instead of water. I'm not sure I like it, but I'd probably go back, given the chance. Mmm. Things are slowing down a bit for awhile I hope. So here's my bi-monthly posting. Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
