Guruzilla's /var/log/knowledge-junkie ["the chatter of a missionary sysadmin"] 2002-11-14 4:48 PM the good, the bad, and the ugly Previous Entry :: Next Entry Mood: antsy Read/Post Comments (1) |
{ Now playing: Michael Knott, Life of David, "Hospital" Recent movie: Forbidden Planet ***** Current books: II Cor.; C. Norman Kraus, An Intrusive Gospel?: Christian Mission in the Postmodern World } The good, the bad, and the ugly: The difference is clear. The bad fail completely, brag about their service, and entirely fail on followup. The ugly is, uhhh, Microsoft? The good is, service providers with loaner dsl modems to test your line, or, who let you bring yours into the office to test with them. Kudos to Telerama for being Good. Hopefully, this will mean we don't have to expensively purchase testing equipment just to prove a point to our dear landlords. Hurrah!
